Who Is An Ideal Candidate For PRP Treatment
- The candidate should be overall healthy
- In case you smoke, you should be ready to give up smoking for the time period prescribed by Dr. Abizer.
- The candidate should be unhappy with their skin and have realistic expectations from the treatment.
How To Prepare For PRP Treatment?
- You should prepare yourself to discuss your medical history, allergies, and other such topics with Dr. Abizer to avoid any complications during the course of treatment.
- You may be asked to undergo a few blood tests to avoid the occurrence of any risks or complications.
- Pictures may be taken to analyze the results and for comparison purposes.
How PRP Treatment Is Performed?
- A required amount of blood is drawn from the patient’s arm and transferred to a centrifuge machine.
- The blood is then centrifuged, that is, white and red blood cells are separated from the platelet-rich plasma. This PRP is then ready to be injected.
- Before injecting PRP into the skin, the required sites are cleansed and markings are made.
- Topical anesthesia is used to reduce the pain and discomfort of the patient. Then PRP is injected into the skin.

Specific instructions regarding eating, drinking, makeup, and skincare will be provided by Dr. Abizer. You will be able to see results in a month. PRP treatment gives long-lasting results but some people prefer doing touch-ups so that the effects can be sustained for a longer period.
